When did this happen?

My sweety informed me recently that, when I’m not paying attention, I tend to leave my mouth ajar. Like when I’m concentrating on typing or chopping vegetables, my mouth will be hanging open. Not like yawning wide open, but more of a “I’m too relaxed to shut my mouth” kind of open. This is terrible. I like to think of myself as an intelligent, sensitive human being. When did I devolve into a slack-jawed, mouth-breathing neanderthal?

Actually I’m not a mouth breather. Slack-jawed yes, but I don’t make a wind tunnel out of my mouth when breathing. I’ve met people like that. They’re disturbing and annoying. There was this one guy who came into the elevator one day. He was short, very rotund, and very noisy in his breathing. He sounded like he’d been running around the office, but he looked stress-free, in no hurry, and ambled out of the elevator like he had no place in particular he had to be. He was just a mouth breather. And he panted. *pant pant pant* I’m not judgemental, but when a person has to breathe that hard while standing still, that person has health issues. I think he was a heart attack waiting to happen.

Anyway, this slack-jawed neandergirl has to go code some websties now. Ugga-ooga.
