Toxic Broccoli - Part 2
Have you read about toxic broccoli on my sweety’s blog? Well this morning I did my usual refrigerator raiding for viable lunch material. I am quite the scavenger. I saw a container of broccoli sitting next to a container of salmon. Yippee! I took them both.
So around 11 I got hungry as usual, and heated up my food. I opened up the container of broccoli, and forked one into my mouth. It wasn’t until I chewed it up and swallowed it that I realized it was bad. Bad broccoli! Bad! Eww, nasty, pleah! Plueh! Too late, I’d already swallowed it. Oh well, I have an iron stomach, but still.
I promptly emptied the container into my garbage can. Well that was dumb. Now I get to smell it all day long because it’s right next to my desk. I think I have broccoli-trash issues. It may be awhile before we buy any more.
