Sometimes you just want something mellow

As much as I love Trance music, there are times when it’s just too fast for my mood, like when I’m feeling tired. When I’m feeling run down (or run over) the fast beats just annoy me, as does loud music.  But there’s another kind of electronica that can fill my musical needs when this is the case.  It’s called Downtempo or Trip Hop. I’m not sure if they refer to the same thing or not, but they’re so similar that I tend to lump them together. It’s really mellow stuff that tends to appeal to a wider audience, I think. It’s also a lot sexier than most other forms of electronica. Yeah baby, sex music! You can just put it on and then get it on. Forget Marvin Gaye, give me some Downtempo.
