Ooh a contest!
Hey y’all, Mother’s Day is coming up! Is it? I don’t see it on the calendar yet. I think it’s in May. Why’d I bring it up then? It’s my renter’s fault. She’s having a Mother’s Day contest, complete with prizes! Really, I shouldn’t be bringing your attention to it because it makes me less likely to win. But oh well, I’m sure I wouldn’t win a damn thing anyway. I rarely do. And in this case I’m sure gushy sentiments about mom will win over my bitter ones. Yeah I’m a bitter, ungrateful child. (If you’re curious about why, this post might shed a little light.) I’m not that interesting right now, so you may as well check her out. My renter, not my mom. As if.
