Nacho average dinner
Yesterday we went to Denny’s. Those things are everywhere, always open, reasonably priced, and can usually be counted on for above average food. If anyone is thinking of opening a restaurant, I think the Denny’s menu is how your menu should look. It’s chock full of appetizing pictures. I ordered the first thing I saw (peach french toast).
As we’re looking through the rest of the menu we see this colorful photo of a plate of nachos. Ooooh that looked good. My sweety says, “We should have nachos tonight!” and I immediately agreed. Hungry people can be so impressionable, can’t they? One tasty photo and all of sudden we have dinner plans.
I know our nachos were a 100 times better than any restaurant nachos. This is due partly because the actual food served to you in the restaurant rarely look like the food in the menu photos. But mostly it was because my sweety kicks ass in the kitchen. She seasoned the ground turkey while I chopped up everything. Everything except the olives. Five cans of olives in the cabinet and I forgot to open a single one of them. Oh well, it still turned out yummy-yummy-yummy.
