Lazy Days
Yes, hard as it is to believe, I skipped a day of posting. I figured my little boy’s adorable mug was good enough to appease people for a couple days. I was feeling especially lazy.
So yesterday I was supposed to meet Kentucky Girl during her trip down in my neck of the woods. If you read my sweety’s post about it, it didn’t happen. And if you read that post you’ll also know I don’t regret it. I wouldn’t have had fun just because I knew sweety was miserable at home. What kind of fun would you have if you keep looking at your watch? I couldn’t go without her also because, well, what good is having a significant other if she doesn’t wait on you hand and foot when you’re feeling bad? She would have done the same for me, no question.
You readers will probably fall into one of two camps—those whose reactions are, “Aaaaawwww… how sweet!” and those who react with, “I think I’m going to be sick!” Well, if I made you feel nauseous, I hope you’ve got someone devoted enough to take care of you in your time of need! I know I do. Yes, this is a smug smile.
Anyway, to continue on with the mushy story, my baby is still feeling like crap this morning, so she called in sick. Well so did I. I have the day off too! I hope she feels better soon, but in the meantime, YAY we have another lazy day!
