How gross is a dog's water bowl?
You might have noticed (and if you didn’t I’m going to come over there and poke your eyes out because you don’t need ‘em!) that my header graphic has changed. For the better I think. Reflects me a lot better than the other one. Big thanks to yet another good friend, Kentucky Girl, for helping me get my hands on a decent graphic to work with. Now I just need to fix the rest of this thing to match it.
Okay, enough blather about my blog. Let’s talk about something else for a change. The other morning I was getting my vitamins ready for the day. The cabinet where the vitamins are kept sit right above the doggy bowls. So I’m opening jars and taking out pills when one falls into the dog’s water bowl. *bloop* Crap.
I bend down to peer into the dish. There’s my Omega-3 capsule lying at the bottom of the bowl of water. Hmm. I fetched it out and stared at it. Do I keep it or toss it? How gross is the water inside a dog’s dish anyway? They do lick a lot of things, including themselves. Hmm again. I consider tossing it into the garbage, but then I think about how much these damn things cost. Forget it, I paid for it, it’s going down the hatch! So I rinse it off, pop it in my mouth and swallow it with some water. Nothing happened, it was all good. If I’ve eaten M&M’s off the street as a child, this is nothing. Makes me wonder though, what would other people have done? (In other words, how odd am I?)
