Great for parties?

On the radio this morning the DJ was talking about people who work in retail who get product discounts, and whether or not they share it with friends.  One girl called in and said she worked for some company that made stripper poles. She gets a 90% discount and she said all her friends have one in their living room, some also in their workout room.

WTF? Who puts a stripper pole in their living room? She said it was great for parties. I can well imagine. “Okay everybody, it’s time for pole-dancing karaoke!” Or maybe they could work it into the next strip poker game? You lose a hand and you have to do a pole dance while stripping off the article you lost.

I wonder how similar these poles are to fireman poles? Heh. I said “fireman poles”.
