Figuring out the Blog Explosion mysteries
So I finally decided to give this whole Blog Explosion thing a try. I create my account, do the whole setup thing, and then I’m all, “Okay, how do we put up the For Rent sign?” I got the code up, got my crazy descriptions in… now what? It tells me I need one credit. One credit. Okaaay…
So I go browsing for credits. What a vast ocean of awful blogs! I’m looking at the little meter at the top and it says I earned 0.5 credits. So I’m all excited, oh good, just a few more! But it never changes no matter how many more I browse. Okaaaay… so I go back to Blog Explosion and check my account there. Oh! I have 5 credits! Cool! What’s this whole “assign credits” thing? So I’m guessing I need to assign these to my blog? So that’s what I do, I move all the credits there and change it to auto-assign the points. I’m all proud of myself and I’m off to go put up a For Rent sign.
Say what? I still need one credit? WTF?? Didn’t I have five? I go back to check and it says I have zero. WTF??? Where’s the five I had?? So I go browse more bad blogs, then go back to check my account. Still zero. What the hell is going on? So I change all the settings back to default and try again.
NOW I have points. That was a very annoying experience. Perhaps I should have read all the FAQs first. Hey at least I read the tutorial on how to earn points. Whatever. I’m probably still recovering from yesterday’s brain-frying session. You smelled it too, huh?
