Don't take the little things for granted
Last night we went to my sweety’s sister’s house to hang out, eat dinner and watch movies. If you recall, her family either doesn’t know about or chooses to ignore our relationship. Despite narrow-minded religious belifs, overall they are good-hearted people and I like them. But when we are with them, we have to act like nothing more than friends.
So we’re watching movies, sitting near each other. We’re so used to our recliners that we start shifting around a lot in the couch, trying to stretch our legs out, bend them, etc. trying to get comfortable. I take this opportunity to touch her hand, oops, by accident. I also rub my foot discreetly against hers. Any little gesture to remind her that, even though we not allowed to touch, the love is still there. It makes me happy to steal these little moments.
I wanted to take this opportunity to remind you, never lose the intimacy. Those of you with honeybuns… go march over there and give him or her a smooch right now. Hold hands in public for me, because I usually don’t have the luxury. Don’t take the little things for granted. Treasure them.
