Try Lego Star Wars.  Or the new Wii Play.

Not a fan of Guitar Hero?  Rock Band is coming out soon too.  What about games like Resident Evil?  I was resistant to getting a Wii, cause I like the horror genre of games mostly, but I like our Wii.

But I do understand where you’re coming from about designing games that take advantage of the technology in the controllers.

I love, love, love my Wario Smooth Moves.  It is literally different EACH time I play and I never get bored with it!  And I really want the DDR game.  smile

Is that where you’ve been?  LMAO!

Husband got me Zelda for the wii.  It has swords and shields and stuff.

Yes,I’m a geek too.

KG, that Wario game is on my wishlist… I think I’ll bump it up to the top and try that one next.

Zoe, I’ve tried Guitar Hero a couple times on various platforms… it’s ok. Not really my thing. Resident Evil is a little difficult for me. The bad guys need to go down with one shot, not 12.

Avi, I’ve played Star Wars Legos on Xbox… it’s cute. Are the controls different on the Wii?

Funny J, sadly no, I’ve been away from my blog due to apathy, not video gaming.

The controls are similar, I think, except you can wave the remote around to swing your lightsaber.

Avitable | 02.11.2008 | 3:47 PM

Hmm, that does sound fun. I might need to give it a try. I like the idea of swinging a light saber around. I mean the remote. Heh.

Bobsleigh is settled by milliseconds at the finish line. After the fastest start possible, the goal is to steer the optimum course for speed. Often, the first ten finishes are separated by no more than 1 second overall. It is exciting to watch for skill and speed but may not be exciting to play. I remember fondly Winter Games by Sierra for the Apple IIGS. It was often quite funny.

I think it would be fantastic if you could play so badly that your bobsled slides completely off the track and into the trees! No realistic, but would make for a funner game.
