Oh man, I’m so jealous. I love the new Toyota Camry’s,and that colour is just hot! Sucks that Nissan was stupid, but glad you guys got a decent car.
I used to have a Honda and I was very happy with them. There was a recall item that went bad in my car. I took it to the local dealer who told me that it had already been replaced on my car so I’d have to pay for it. Knowing that this dealer had tried to fuck me over in the past, I called the main Honda office in CA. They told me that it had NOT been replaced on my car and that I did not have to have a Honda dealer do it, they would send the check (to pay for the part and labor) to whoever fixed it - even if I fixed it myself. I was impressed with their service.
It’s funny Heather, I had the same situation just about the other way around. I had a part go wrong on my Honda and the Honda dealer kept saying they fixed it and didn’t. I lost a good amount of money and then just got rid of the car.
That was smart to call Honda’s corporate office. Dealerships are independent and don’t always subscribe to the home company’s idea of customer service. Nissan’s corporate office is, I think, is not quite so put-together as Honda.
Good to know.
So far I’ve been happy with Hyundai.
