I hate that. I like early bird...if I want to go out, I do it at 4 PM.

Then again, I have no young friends who want to do that ‘night on the town’ thing...and I’m fucking old.

I tend to do most of my going out on week nights. I catch my movies during the day (matinee) as well. I can’t stand crowds, as much as I like people watching, crowded environs make me batty!

At least you didn’t pass out before you got some grub. It’s been known to happen. Enjoy the rest of your weekend sweets.

I’m with you guys. If I’m to go out, I want it to be early, or on a weekday. But these youngsters, I tell ya, they seem to thrive on the crowds and have all the time in the world to waste.

Week days are much better for this.

Heh, heh...Miss Ann says she’s getting old...whoda thunk that?

*snickers*

Miss Ann is a wild woman and we know it! wink

I’ve heard a blue hat can make you that way.

(She’s gonna kick my ass.)

That thing about waiting 3hrs is just crazy. Okay, I admit that place is very trendy and they have REALLY GOOD FOOD, and most importantly good Cocktails! smile

But then again, we had fun!

Mike, LOL! You and that blue hat fetish of yours. I know you’re looking forward to that ass-kicking too. beaten up

I’m not good at waiting. I have absolutely no patience whatsoever. Traffic and waiting for a table at a restaurant are unbearable for me. I won’t wait for a table if it’s more than ten minutes. Of course, then we have to go to another restaurant and if that one has a long wait, we go to another one, and basically it defeats the purpose. I will swear and bitch like a whiny little girl if I get stuck in traffic.

Those places are fun but man the parking and wait times are just absolutely horrendous!! Hopefully you enjoyed the meal at the place you finally got into.

Donna | 04.17.2006 | 8:01 AM

No way would I wait 3 hours for a table at a restaurant. But, I’m from Podunk Oregon, and that would be unthinkable anywhere around here....even in Portland. 45 minutes annoys us....THREE hours?? No food is that good. smile

But, usually, by the time we get our asses out the door to go to a place to eat, we are so starving that I don’t think we’d last another 3 hours w/o gnawing off an arm.

adena | 04.17.2006 | 8:52 AM

T, I wholeheartedly agree! Waiting, for anything, is the biggest waste of time in the world. We were okay waiting half an hour because we chatted a lot and wandered around a few stores.

Adena, I don’t have to live in podunk-Oregon to agree that 3 hours is an unreasonable wait time. No way is any restaurant THAT good.
