Want I should send you my Vista Home Premium ISO so you can run it for a month to test it out before having to activate it?

our computer is a 4 yr old dell using xp operating system and a few add ons. not technical at all. what i learned is pretty much trial and error, complete with erros and crashes. in a nutshell, i have no real clue. i hope you get it figured out soon. wanted to let you know i was still reading. been so busy here that i barely get to hop through my bloggy roll. take care of yourself and happy geeking. smile

Danalyn, surprised that would be, like, awesome! I could do a side-by-side installation, see if it’s doable, and if it is, I can buy myself a copy, flatten the entire partition and do a fresh install. Was that a run-on sentence?

Poet, glad to see you’re still around!

Ok, give me a few, I have to upload it somewhere (it’s 2.6 GB).

I appreciate it! Take your time.  I won’t be able to download it until I get home after 6pm. I don’t think the company would look kindly upon me downloading 2.6GB of data on their network.
