I’ve had problems with my TV tuner card and pcie video card in XP...but those exact same cards together in Vista work just fine.  Bastids.

Oh good, I’m glad it’s not just me. If it weren’t the fact that I wanted a refund I would’ve hucked that thing out the window… without opening the window first. I’m going to try a different brand this time.

It’s the techie way. Spend $5000 dollars worth of time and resources trying to fix a problem cause by the wrong plug in the wrong socket.

I always start at one end and work to the other…
- test the monitor device using another input source. If that works…
- test your GFX card output signal (one port at a time!!). If that works…
- test the interface on the MB using another GFX card (unlikely because of previous tests but you can never be sure). If that works…
- test the media you are playing (i.e. the signal/source file) using another output device. If that works…
...then you have a bigger problem.

Its all about cause and effect.

Also, you are too close to your own project to pick out the stupid dumbass errors. We’ve all done it, don’t beat yourself up.

I’m over it now. I’m on to new problems now, hehe. Albeit less annoying problems.
