My office is right next to the kitchen, so I get to smell all the wonderful (disgusting) aromas all afternoon long. The worst was the frozen fish dinners this woman used to bring in. It would reek like fish all afternoon. Thank God she’s not there anymore.
Some smells just linger, and linger, and linger...burnt popcorn definitely falls into that category.
So what did the smelley lunch consist of?? You find out??

Too funny, burnt popcorn and reheated, microwaved fish are my two biggest pet peeves with office lunches. But they’ve been covered now. What else is there? Tuna fish, but I’m a repeat offender, so it really can’t be a pet peeve of mine, can it? 
At one job, my office had its own private bathroom that everyone liked to use. So that was super fun, with all types of great smells!
I burned popcorn in our breakroom about a month ago. Walking through the building everyone I passed mentioned the smell, people opened office doors trying to fan the smell out. It was so embarrassing! Turns out, the microwave in there is very strong, I used the button for popcorn and it was nearly on fire after 3 minutes! It was pretty bad!
Burning office popcorn has to be one of the most common (and dare I say dastardly) employment faux pas known to (wo)man!
