I guess this means my normal dreams really are bizarre to everyone else? “Holy crackhead”... that’s funny! It’s just how my brain works when I’m not paying attention to it. Might explain a few things…
Only you would request oatmeal in a crisis situation. You certainly have interesting dreams..this one cracked me up.
cracking up! I have a dream dictionary.
Oats: Sexual Energy, Sexual Satisfaction.
To dream that you are eating oatmeal, suggests that you are well-grounded.
To dream that you are cooking and serving oatmeal, signifies that you have control over the destiny of someone close to you.
Bicycle: Youthful Freedom w/o Responsibility.
To see or wear a fur coat in your dream, symbolizes prosperity and luxury. It also indicates your need for attention and your need to be admired.
To dream that you are eating, giving, receiving, or stealing cookies signifies that you will let trivial problems and minor disputes annoy you.
To see tires in your dream, indicates that you are dwelling too much in the past and need to move on toward the future. It also refers to your emotional health and how it carries you from one situation to another.
Analyze away!
man i thot the cornnuts dream was whacky ... sounds to me like your brain is trying to outdo itself ...
WTF??? I can barely remember my dreams. But even when I do, it’s like my consious brain can’t comprehend what the subconsious mind recalls and starts distorting it. No sooner than I try to tell about my dream does it get all messed up in my own head. Hence the name… Unbalanced
Adena, those are some interesting symbol interpretations. So apparently I dwell too much in the past and let trivial things bother me, and I need to be admired. Well that last one is definitely true, heh. And I might be well-grounded, but I never did eat the oatmeal before the dream ended so I guess it’s all up in the air. Heh, get it? Up in the air instead of well grounded. Oh nevermind.
Pusher, I thik it’s my brain’s desire for attention, heehee.
Unbalanced, your distorted recollection of dreams may just turn out to be weirder than mine! (Is that possible?)
My dreams are NEVER normal...ever. For instance last night was about me being in a mall with 2 other people I’ve never met. Apparently the mall was closed but we were hunting for Fabrege eggs that were hidden inside the walls. Inside the eggs were little demons that were looking for human hosts and I kept running in to this angry aisan couple and a mall security guard who kept trying to beat me to the eggs. Weird no? I think I read to much before bed.
Actually, Wild Blue, dreams like yours seem pretty standard to me. We must both have overactive imaginations that don’t quit, even when we sleep.
Wow. Who knew you could analyze oatmeal like that?
I dreamed about bills last night. All kinds of people in front of me writing the damn things out.
Heh ... that doesn’t need much analyzing.
Actually, you know, I probably have just as funky of dreams. I wake up all the time thinking “What the HELL was THAT???”
But, then *poof*....details of the dreams just disappear. I only remember them in that split second of waking up.
It’s really annoying.
Adena - I want your book!
I had a dream the other night that we bought a new house that was “new style” (whatever the hell that means) and there was a highway that ran through on a balcony. So like we could be standing in our living room and look up to the balcony and see cars zoom by. I was annoyed because every once in a while a car would kick off some rocks into our living room. Damn, I hate when that happens.
I have no idea what oatmeal means in dreams. I do think you have an extremely active imagination. I remember my dreams, too, and they’re sometimes weird but not so random.
You’re the third person in my blogroll to blog about really off the wall dreams lately.
T, I wonder if the phases of the moon have anything to do with, uh, anything? I dunno, my dreams, when I can remember them, are generally off the wall, heh.
Heather, yeah I hate it when that happens. I sweep enough pet hair off the floor I don’t need rocks being kicked in there by cars driving across my balcony!
Well duh--everyone knows that oatmeal fixes everything!
(P.S. My little confirmation word is SNARK… how fitting.)
Well, my last confirmation word was sextoy and I was quite pleased with that. This one is foofy which just leaves me scratching my head.
Good lord woman, WHAT are doing right before going to bed?? LOL
Heh, T when I was thinking up words to throw into my word verification list I thought, “What’s that word that means girly, fussy and showy… foofy? Froufrou!” I amused myself immensely (easy to do) so I just threw both words in.
Molly, oatmeal DOES fix everything. I probably had good cholesterol in my dream.
Lucy, I blog before bed. You think that might have something to do with it?
why did that post just make me feel like i needed to eat some Maple and Brown Sugar oatmeal??? mmmmmmm
WAaahahaha! I’m so glad my dreams aren’t this weird. Well..the pink casket one was kinda weird. Yeah...uhm...so anyway, I can laugh at you now!
Holy Crackhead! WHAT do you eat before you go to bed??
