See, that was why I chose another mp3 player over the ipod.  Well, besides the fact that our household is anti-apple.  lol But now mine is brokeded and I’m sadded.  I have to remember to send it in.  Grr.

Sansa has the same drag-and-drop capabilities when loading music.  Every time I plug in my Walkman Bean and my computer loads the software for it I sigh a little bit and think wistfully back to my Sansa.  Hubby stole it when he bought me my bean.

It was his plan all along! You should switch it back. Beans are for dips. Heehee! I made a funny!

iTunes crashed my computer so many times, I took it off.
Poor daughter - it’s her iPod.
I hate them.  All about the name and nothing else.
I have one from Creative and I love it.  Simple and pain free.

(I fav’d that sharepod link tho to have a look later - thanks hon!)

I can’t get the sharepod to work.  I wonder if it’s because daughter’s iPod is a nano?
It just keeps telling me to copy it to the iPod drive, which I am.  Weirdness.  I’m going to try the other three you mentioned.

I’ve never used it myself (never needed to) but from what I understand, you run it from the iPod, not from the desktop.  After copying it to the iPod, you then run it from there and it opens up an iTunes-like interface for transferring files. Let me know if you need help and I can ask my coworker for more details.
