Oh believe me, the day the inspector came and left, we were so tempted to march in there and pull the bitch out by her hair and give her a thorough thrashing. It sucks that the law protects lameasses like her.
We probably could do the fixes ourselves, but the thing is, the guest house is supposed to be a garage. The city wants it to be a garage again, so… 
There’s a lot of maneuvering to be done to take care of this mess.
Once she gets the eviction notice from the courts, it will be on her record. Not that it’ll stop her from finding a new sap to victimize. She talks up one hell of a convincing story. Bitch.

We did it because it was the only way we could afford the high-priced mortgage. Sweety’s brother has had to deal with kinda crap before, so we know we can get through, it’s just annoying. I hope you find a way to make her life hell while she tries to hang on there. I say it’s time for a nice, loud, yard party and you can call it a fund raising to remove the pest from the garage. I’d even put up banners and fliers.

I could never be a landlord...it sounds so stressful. Then again I didn’t like renting much either.
I probably could use to get another job but I barely have any free time with working and my commute.

Thing is I’m not a vindictive person like her. I <i>could</i> try making her life hell, but I wouldn’t get much satisfaction out of it. Plus I think it would only escalate things. She IS a vindictive person and would only find ways to further torment and sabotage us. So no, I’m just going to let the legal action finish and resume normal life once her ass is on the street.
That sucks - you should call the cops on her and claim drug use or sexual abuse or something.

We sure did. We made it explicitly clear verbally and in writing that we wanted no smoking in or around the property, not even in the back yard.

You guys don’t understand, she’s not afraid to run to the cops at all. She brought cops with her when we started locking the front gate to keep her fugitive BF out. She would so LOVE the opportunity to try to get us cited for something else. Harrassment, for example, can get you a restraining order. Wouldn’t she just love to get us kicked out of our own house. No fucking way I’m stooping to her lowlife level. I just want her OUT. In the meantime we’re looking into ways to report her bad tenancy to every agency who will listen.
Well, if she’s just a hideous hose-beast, then she just is… Kudos to you for being the better person in this ‘battle’, and I hope you can find a way to prevent her from doing the same thing to someone else.

Oh hell no. I’d have just offed the bitch and let her fucking rot. Maybe you could save money by doing the repairs yourself? There are lots of self-help books out there that will walk you through most anything. And while it is hard work, it can be done. You and Sweety are smart gals. You can totally do it!
