yeah i seem to have adjusted as well - we also do not use an alarm.
I find them so...jarring
Alarms are jarring. When I need to use one, I usually set it to radio and have it on so low that most people would sleep right through it. But it’s all I need.
Robin, that sounds dangerous! Hope you haven’t taken a tumble down those steps yet.
I just hate this time of year all together. I go to work in the dark and come home in the dark. Plus, I hate being cold. I’m a total baby about cold. But I do like the time change.
You don’t use an alarm? Holy shit! I have to set three alarms five minutes apart!
LOL Heather, you need to have one of those alarms that Goofy uses. Ever see the old cartoon where his alarm goes off and the little crank in the back is attached to one corner of his blanket, it pulls the blanket off him and then as it continues to rotate it slaps him with it? Seems pretty effective.
hey, at least you got sleep. I had to be at the bar this morning for a friends going away party, and I don’t think I slept at all last night. So, now I’m sitting in this crappy cube at work hoping nobody wants to smell my breath (for whatever wierd reason they have...)
Chad you have weird friends… a party in a bar on a Wednesday morning?
If I didn’t use an alarm I wouldn’t wake up until about 12. lol
yeah, we get that alot. But, I guess I should mention that we work 12 hour night shifts, and Wednesday morning is our friday evening.
I guess I’m surprised more by the fact that there’s a bar open at that time.
Not yet but I wouldn’t rule it out.
I’m right there with you. It is by no means cold in Miami (hello, 87 degrees!), yet it is still so hard to get out of the bed. I had all these grand plans of waking up at 6:00 am, and working out before getting the kid up. Yeah, right. This morning I crawled out of bed at 7:15. Late.

After decades close to the arctic circle, I’ve always thought of daylight savings time as being rather pointless.
I’m the same way! I love that I have an extra hour but I hate that it gets dark so fast!!
They’re open just for us, we even get discounted beer and breakfast.
I’m definitely glad there is actually a bit of daylight when I get up. I hated feeling my way down the back stairs to get to my car in the morning.
