It’s nice to have a house with character. Did you buy this one or are you renting now?
Joe, with those things there I just kept picturing someone falling through the ceiling and getting impaled on them.
Avitable, we are renting. I am through with home-ownership. It’s highly overrated and not worth the trouble.
That’s what I thought. In the expensive areas, it’s definitely overrated. I was wondering how much leeway you had in construction if you had to build around that little “rock garden”
The homeowner is a little weird. She was even reluctant and worried about us putting a tiny hole in the kitchen cabinets to allow for a skinny water hose that goes to the ice maker in our fridge. She used to live in the house herself and was fine with the silly “rock garden”. She probably wouldn’t understand why we would need to remove it.
Isn’t the furniture just a bit close to the stripper pole to be able to use it to it’s fullest?
True… unless you incorporate the funiture into the show! Creativity and acrobatics! Please have a medic standing by.
odd for sure.
i think you should go with a serenity fountain in there.
Fire place. That’s what was in the corner I’d bet money on it. I’d also bet those pipes are old gas lines for a gas powered fire place.
The recessed area under the couch (You’re right that is a little odd) might have been either steps off the porch, or a fire place at some point. Our house used to have a huge fire place before an earthquake here, and now that whole area is our front porch.
Well, at least you wont have that big an issue with termites
The fuck is up with that floor? LMFAO! You could try to cover it with a pretty rug...IF that stupid stripper pole wasn’t there...what the hell is the pole there for anyway? LOL Quite strange...but glad to hear you’re adapting. :D
Now that’s going to be a tricky house to decorate, I thought ours was tough.
Weese I thought about that. A fountain would be cool, but we really needed to reclaim the space for the computer desk.
Fogspinner, those aren’t pipes. They’re solid steel rods like the kind they use to reinforce concrete structures.
Chad, true, that part of the house will certainly be safe.
KG, we did have a nice rug to put there. Doesn’t cover all of that weirdness, but it was just the right size to fit on one side of that pole.
Robin, thank goodness the whole house isn’t this weird.
I think one of those s&m types must’ve lived there before you. You’ve now taken up residence in their ‘dungeon’.
LOL!
Yeah ... you’re going to think about that all the time now. Thank me later. *snort*
Did you buy this house on purpose or did someone <strike>give it</strike> <strike>to</strike> make you?
Ha! No we didn’t buy it at all. It’s a rental, and a really decent price. Cheap actually, if you consider it’s a house with all utilities paid.
J, that’s funny. Now I keep imagining chains hanging from the walls.
No house is ever complete without a stripper pole and a dungeon. WTF lol
lol at the Mortal Kombat reference. “Dragon! Wins!”
