Damn Mallards are all the same!!

adena | 05.01.2006 | 10:17 AM

Heh, adena this could’ve been an entirely different duck couple led astray by a stubborn mallard.

I used to have a couple of ducks in my neighborhood that looked just like that. They would appear every spring in one of the yards around our house. Never our house because our dogs are really small moose. I miss those ducks. We had a pond about three blocks away but they always nested in someone’s yard. Thanks for the memory!

You may have to consider the possibility that these ducks are stalking you.

mike | 05.01.2006 | 10:43 AM

Mike, you’re right! Someone has hired ducks to spy on me! Little did they know that ducks don’t really blend in when they’re in a big city.

Keb, ducks make for some very cute memories.

heh. Stalker ducks. I like it!

Joefish | 05.01.2006 | 11:34 AM

That’s kind of up there with the secret agent penguins, isn’t it?

Geeky Dragon Girl | 05.01.2006 | 11:37 AM

Maybe you should set up a duck sanctuary at your house with a pond and a little duck house.

T. | 05.01.2006 | 11:49 AM

That male mallard would get lost trying to find the sanctuary behind Dragon’s house, and wind up in a mini mall somewhere, refusing to ask for directions. Stubborn Mallards.

adena | 05.01.2006 | 12:27 PM

A duck sanctuary would be fun! It would be the hottest vacation spot for lost ducks. Of course, like Adena said, they may never find it. LOL

You know how people say that an old woman with lots of cats is a “crazy cat lady”? Would that make you the “crazy duck lady”?

T. | 05.01.2006 | 1:27 PM

I’m picturing a future episode of “Southern California Animal Cops”.

All these haggard animal control officers chasing around filthy, hungry, violent ducks.

“They won’t stop pecking! Bring in reinforcements!!!”

Meanwhile, you see Crazy Duck Lady (aka GDG)standing over by the garage in a mumu, screaming “NOT HUEY, DUEY and LOUEY!! TAKE THE REST, BUT LEAVE ME HUEY, DUEY AND LOUEY!! YOU HEAR ME?? YOU LEAVE THEM!!”

Then she stops yelling long enough to take a drag on her cigerette, and a sip of MGD, and then starts up screaming again…

Yup, totally can visualize it.

Okay, this is a totally hilarious image you visualized for all of us. The only thing is you’d NEVER find me standing ANYWHERE in a MUMU! Gaah! Well… maybe if there were dragons on it… I might wear it on laundry day.

Geeky Dragon Girl | 05.01.2006 | 1:39 PM

Violent ducks? Bahahahahaha! What is crazy duck lady doing to them? Training them to kill and arming them?

T. | 05.02.2006 | 7:24 AM

YES! It’s my secret army of stalker ninja ducks! Those secret agent penguins need to be taught a lesson…
