LOL I wish I could spend just one day going through her stuff I can only imagine what else she has!!!
Belted pads...so not fun. When I had my son (1985) the hospital still used them so when I woke up I was all belted in and honestly, they weren’t that bad. Definately not as good as the newer products, but not that bad.
That’s hilarious! You know, you can sell vintage stuff like that on eBay - there’s always someone who collects it.
Someone who collects vintage pads… LOL! I don’t think I’d ever want to visit that weirdo’s house.
Audi, it doesn’t sound painful to me, but it does sound like a hell of a lot of trouble if you need to pee.
Di, I would imagine they’re fairly secure!
Luckily I missed the pads with belts, that would have driven me insane.
lol belted pads? That’s the first time I heard of that. Glad I missed that era.
Too funny!
And I totally remember seeing those belt jobbies in the store when I was around 9. I was totally confused.
Thankfully, there were other options at the time. LOL.
I so wish my Mom would’ve kept more of my stuff.
I think, because she didn’t, that’s why I now have WAY too many things packed away for the daughter! I enjoy it though. Hopefully she will too!
Holy shit - I laughed out loud (really loud) at your erection guy shirt. Haha… Good stuff.
Erica, everyone else was tactfully silent about the shirt, heehee. We’re the corny ones who laugh at that kinda stuff.
J, while she’s a kid/teen/college punk she’ll think it’s space-taking junk. But once she gets to be an adult looking back, that stuff will be a museum of “Oh hey I remember that!”
Diva, I was supposed to have missed that era, but my mom really tried to preserve it, heehee.
Robin, no kidding. I don’t even like wearing belts on my pants if I can help it.
Ohh my this is a priceless post
luv the little man and espially the “beltless” pads. Ohh I am so glad I didn’t use pads that required belts… just seems wrong lol…
I think my favorite is the little guy taped to the cabinet door. That’s just awesome. lol
I think if I had to use a belt to hold them in place I don’t think I would use them. Sounds painful.
