That is amazing that no ticket was received for that. They live to ticket here for that.

You’re so right, it is a relative and I am so lucky to understand that.

zoe | 09.28.2006 | 6:50 AM

i like this attitude. just this morning i was having a conversation with someone here at work about some cheese factory workers winning the lottery.
her first reacation was that she wanted to go work in a cheese factory.
my first reaction was… i bet that cheese factory workers could really use some lottery money.
its all about how you look at it.

banana I just like this dancing banana. Kinda reminds me of Bender from Futurama...like your blog btw. Easy reading. Keep up the good work.

Mike, it is amazing, that’s why I consider myself lucky.

Zoe, you are lucky indeed. smile

Weese, she sure had a funny way of looking at it. Cheese factory does not automatically equal lottery luck. I’m with you, they need it more than we do.

Kurt, thanks! I try to keep my blog under a 7th grade reading level. And the dancing banana is perfect for it! banana

Whoa - as my husband and I often say when someone has had extremely good luck - “Horseshoes in strange and unusual places, my friend”.

How much “nice cop karma” do you think you used up for that one?

Mrs. S | 09.28.2006 | 9:30 AM

Wow that is lucky!! I’ve forgotten that one year, but not for long. I got pulled over - it was my first ticket ever and I was so bummed!

I like your positive outlook, I am trying really hard to change mine. I’m one of those people who always expects the worst - so I’m not disappointed or whatever…

Di | 09.29.2006 | 3:22 AM

And now you’ll for sure get pulled over rasberry

Robin | 09.29.2006 | 4:10 AM

Mrs S, my sweety actually collects antique horseshoes… I wonder if that has anything to do with it? confused

Di, when it comes to life in general, I try to be optimistic. However when it comes to new experiences (like vacations and such) I sometimes expect the worse so as not to be let down, like you. I enjoy it more that way when I’m pleasantly surprised.

Robin, thank you little miss sunshine. tongue laugh

Geeky Dragon Girl | 09.29.2006 | 5:31 AM

Sometimes I feel optimistic. other times I feel like the world is going to hell in a handbasket. Depends on my mood.

I got towed once for having an expired registration because Mr. T didn’t go do it when I told him to. So you are lucky!

T. | 09.29.2006 | 5:55 AM

You got towed for that? Damn that sounds a little extreme!

Geeky Dragon Girl | 09.29.2006 | 6:24 AM

That IS lucky! I’ve had them pull me over right at the beginning of the expiry month. Sheesh.

J. | 09.29.2006 | 7:03 AM

I am in envy over your whole glass-half-full attitude.

Psychobabble | 10.01.2006 | 9:09 AM

J, the same month? Wow they don’t mess around in your town do they?

Psychobabble, believe me, when nothing is going my way, I can be a walking pile of whiny gloom and doom.
