LOL weese it was only recently that I became aware of STDs that can cause cancer. Pretty soon colds will cause cancer too.

What STI’s cause cancer? This is news to me. I wonder what they will ‘link’ to cause cancer next? Perhaps trimming your nails causes nose and finger cancer.

Damian, I wasn’t sure, so I looked it up. It’s called human papillomavirus, or HPV. There are multiple kinds of it, some of which cause genital warts or increased risk of cancer.
Yep, certain strains of HPV can lead to cellular changes that cause cancer. It’s not just something you see on TV! That’s why I got vaccinated for it last year.
Oh, HPV sounds nasty. Thanks for letting me know. Hopefully I never have to go to the doctor for anything ‘HPV’ related.
