If the noise is bothering you, then you might not be drunk enough.

Awwww, poor puppies!
But I LOVE fireworks!!!

I live across from a park and I’m four blocks from the river and I live in a state where fireworks are legal too. The last few days have been noisy and colorful around here.

Awww poor pooches! I really do feel for the dogs.

our dog suffers too. and we feel bad about leaving her alone. last night we closed up the house, put the a/c and left animal planet on tv (nice and loud) to block the noise. she seemed much calmer when we got home.

Hope you eventually got some sleep and weren’t too tired today. smile

I’m a huge pushover for doggies inside so I’m of no help here.
Hope you had a great 4th of July!!

I love the 4th. I don’t know why, I just do. But my cats freak out. It’s kind of funny to see four cats with their ears flat, slink around the apartment from window to window trying to find the source of the noise.

I can imagine your dogs shaking and hiding behind you. Good luck with the sleeping situation.

I love the 4th of July...because it means it’s time to “party”. And days off from work. I don’t usually mind fireworks but now that I work 6am I am in bed between 8-9. Last night I finally fell asleep at 12am!!

I was up until midnight with the people in my neighborhood setting off those freaking things.  I hate them.  My dog hates them more, poor little thing was scared all night long, freaking out.

I had to wake up at 430 for work myself so I understand the wanting to sleep and not being able too cause of the noise makers outside.

I’m glad it’s over for another year, that’s for sure!  haha smile

The idiots in my neighborhood were stilllighting them off at ONE O’ FRICKiN clock in the morning.  One of my dogs would not go out all day/night, until about 4:45 A.M. when she decided it was safe.  You could say I’m a little tired today.

I laid in bed last night, waiting for the fire alarm to go off because of all the little asshole kids in my neighborhood out there exploding shit.  Needless to say, I’m getting cranky in my old age.
