I think caterers are scared of us. Scared that we only eat green and orange food + mushrooms.  I would love to get an association to make a happy poster for hotel kitchens featuring a happy vegetarian eating all sorts of food, and one waiter saying to the next--"hey, we should give him more food, since he won’t have his stomach stretched with our ham filled chicken.”

I think you’re right! They need to realize that vegetarians are a growing segment of the population, not a temporary fad to throw a few leaves of lettuce at.

Yeah, vegetarians always get short shrift.  It’s unfortunate.

Vegas is always fun for the hotel room, food, and some of the extras, like the zoo at the MGM Grand or the Mandalay Bay sharks.  Those are worth it, too.

I was in vegas in December. I was stuck with friends who didn’t like expensive buffets, so we ate at other venues. I wanted to kill them.
I don’t like the slot machines. When I put coins in a machine, I expect a gumball or SOMETHING in the end.
