What are you talking about? I still hear that on the radio. Love that song, but it still gets plenty of airplay, at least in LA.
I LOVE “No One Is To Blame” and “Kyrie”! When I was a kid, I thought the Yes song was “Owner of a Lonely Horse”. I remember thinking to myself, “Poor lonely horse!”
Just popped by to say hi as I haven’t been online as much as I’d like recently.
I guess going by age I have to claim the 90’s as my era really, but I still love a lot of the 80’s stuff
I like all those songs.
Here is my list of <a href="http://livebythefoma.blogspot.com/2006/02/awesome-80s-birthday-bash.html">Awesome 80s Hits</a>.
Good music as usual!
No Wham? awww. I am kidding.
Divalicious, I do love Wham as well, but they still get plenty of airplay to this day. I wanted to share the stuff that gets ignored a lot these days.
Yellojkt, great list! I like just about all of those… except for the ones I didn’t recognize.
EC, good of you to stop by! What were some of your 90s favorites?
TFP, LOL poor horsie. Was it Seabiscuit?
That is true they do still play Wham songs on the radio.
So far I love the music you have been sharing. Keep it up!
I’m with you on loving the 80’s. (Although I have to disagree about the Madonna songs, but only because I’ve had a major crush on her since the 80’s). I love when we listen to the 80’s channel at work because they play all the songs you listed.
Ha, every time I hear Tainted Love, I think of my wedding day because that song came on when I was driving over to get my hair done.
I just got..
“I hear the secrets that you keep. When your talking in your sleep.”
Great to read you again after a summer away withthe family. Just no time to blog when they are all home all the time.
Heh. I’m for sure not going to admit that I still know all the words to those songs. Nope.
I like the weird ones like Come On Eileen and Safety Dance. They make me wanna shake my boo-tay. :D
Dawn - I LOVE Safety Dance and Come on Eileen!
Seriously, I think Safety Dance is one of the best 80’s songs! I also love Whip It.
You forgot a-ha.
Shame on you!
