Vixen, you’re right, I’m not the only one being discriminated against. Any blog that isn’t “wholesome”, patriotic or family oriented will lose during the day. If you speak with “colorful” language you will also be shunned. Not only that, your site will be labled with “Profanity” in bright red letters under your thumbnail. Personally I’m biased towards those, heh.

Hmm. I’ve never noticed a pattern on my wins and losses. Well, aside from the general pattern “some people make dreadful decisions.” I’m going to have to keep tabs on this time of day thing.
The whole BOTB is crazy. YOu have cceertain groups that vote together, and if you battle that blog, you will loose. I battle the same people all the time, sometimes I win, sometimes I loose. I battled like crazy in March, now I am over it. I’ve got it out of my system. Now when I want traffic, I just let the bitches smack me, and my taffic hits an all time high!

I mean I like it when people comment on my Blog so gaining popularity would be cool but I don’t like feeling obligated to read other peoples blogs. I’ve heard of battle of the blogs and I’ve seen a lot of the renting going on but it’s just something that doesn’t interest me. I read ya because you are quirky and funny to me.
As Gidget said, there are groups. More than one group. Thing is to figure out who is in which group and not battle against them.

I totally stick by the conversation we had last night about this. Totally different people. I won 6 battles during the day last night then BOOM I get taken out by an “easy win”! Whatever. Stupid people.

OH!! I forgot to mention… you know what really picks my ass about BOTB??? When you go to vote and they both suck ass major and you have to pick one or you don’t get credit for wasting your time. There should be a “These both blow” button you can click, still get credit and carry on your merry way!
I joined Blog Explosion back in 2004 and have never felt compelled to battle anyone’s blog. Maybe I’m afraid of losing against a blog about knitting...I don’t think I could live with the shame…
I wouldn’t put any stock in the BOTB. There are alliances in voting and all of that. I used to do it all the time (mostly to get credits) but I haven’t done it in a long time. I put my entertainment blog up because I don’t care if it wins or loses, it’s strictly for promotional reasons to get it viewed more.
It’s okay cause we all love you so screw the BOTB!
Oh, and when I used to participate--I had the same problem. I would win at night and lose during the day. Got all the conservatives voting during the day.

I have similar results. However, I won the most the day I had a sex post up and a crack me up email with a naked guy and his foot long weiner. Go figure.
