I second that proposal!
My co-worker, OL, she wears this peach/pear stuff that smells sour, it’s just awful!
I’m afraid I could only support aforementioned proposal if perfume was also included.
IMO, cologne isn’t nearly as bad as those sickeningly acrid perfumes.
Oh yes, perfumes are actually the worst offenders. I personally don’t know why cologns and perfumes are even differentiated. They’re both offensive in great quantities (some are even offensive in tiny quantities).
Di, ew, peaches and pears aren’t supposed to be sour. Someone needs to tell her that her perfume is decomposing.
Anna, thanks!
just wanted to say i have been reading, and not commenting much. but you probably have a site counter and know i have been here,
I just wanted to say, as a person with asthma, cologne is one of my worst triggers, and in this day & age where scent reduction seems to be the order of the day; people should heed that. people have died form scent exposure. thanks for posting this. have a good weekend. poet
Poet, I have mild asthma too. I’ve gotten pretty decent at holding my breath, both from using an inhaler and also when passing by someone with no sense of smell and a large bottle of nasty perfume at home.
I totally agree! And not just in elevators.
Cool blog.
