Go with scavenger. It’s a lot less sad. (I know, because I was the one who walked with her head down cause she was. But I’m much better now smile

Man you really dug deep for that one! LOL

cheynne | 06.27.2006 | 1:06 PM

Stephanie I think going through that keeps us humble as adults. I’m glad you got through it okay.

Cheynne, I think I saw China when I was done digging.

Over the years, I have found enough money that way to total several hundred dollars

My captcha is stimpy, I hope you included ren too.

Charred | 06.27.2006 | 2:19 PM

Yeah I was gonna say that too, go with scavenger… I really hope she’s not sad!

aww..poor little skinny girl....

D | 06.27.2006 | 4:05 PM

I used that talent to get a degree in Archaeology. Ya never know, she could be the next Indiana Jones! LOL

Maggie | 06.27.2006 | 5:05 PM

My son is a scavenger. If I can’ find it he seems to always be able to. I went to clean out my car at the car wash place and my son went looking around the place. He found things that I would have never found. wink

Audi | 06.28.2006 | 2:15 AM

That’s awesome. Yeah I hope that little girl was just being a scavenger and not sad. Hey if I knew you when I went to school you most likely would have been my best buddy. I hoarded crazy stuff too.

Donna | 06.28.2006 | 8:10 AM

My son is a scavenger. He collects everything, even rocks and sticks.

Heather | 06.28.2006 | 9:12 AM

Well didn’t you get me thinking?
I was the ‘fat kid’ at that age. Not good for the self esteem at all.
Excellent writing girl ... I have a visual of that little girl with her head down…

J. | 06.28.2006 | 10:06 AM

I find it easy to imagine you hanging around with that blonde kid in the fur. not listening

60 and counting | 06.28.2006 | 10:08 AM

I could also BE the blonde kid in the fur. You mean the ferrel kid, right? That would be a fun character to be. Uh, not that I was like that or anything, heh.

Thanks J, I try to describe what my mind’s eye sees.

Heather, I think I had a brief rock collecting phase too. Good thing that didn’t last long. Rocks are heavy to lug around.

Donna, we definitely would’ve made a funny pair.

Audi, I’ve never claimed to be good at finding things that I actually need! smile

Maggie, archeology is cool. Does that include some geology as well?

D, it’s hard to say. Some kids make a habit out of stooping when they walk.

Charred, of course Ren is included! You can invite one and not the other! That would be wrong I tell you, wrong!

Geeky Dragon Girl | 06.28.2006 | 10:22 AM

leave some stuff for her to find.

weese | 06.28.2006 | 10:23 AM

Oh all right weese. How about if I scatter more stuff in her path?

Geeky Dragon Girl | 06.28.2006 | 10:30 AM

I am so behind in my reading.

Do I have to picture you as a Mad Max character? They were all filthy and had bad teeth.

Joefish | 07.02.2006 | 10:49 PM

That’s true, I have quite good teeth. In fact, I need to post about my trip to the dentist!
