Exactly my feelings as well. I looked around at those with more responsibility and they just seemed stressed all the time, with little free time. I didn’t want that, so I stuck with the grunt work. But that doesn’t have to be me. There’s pride in responsibility, and how I approach it will make a difference as to whether it’s rewarding or not.

I thought for a long time that I was happy doing the grunt work..not having to take much responsibility. But I’m since changing...I’d just had enough of being pushed around.
