you don’t have to be a lesbian to have a psycho mom. believe me. the scariest thing for me though, is knowing that i was raised by a crazy mom, so will i then be a crazy mom to my girls one day? i always tell them: when you grow up and i drive you nuts, just tell me i’m acting like grammy. hopefully i’ll shut the hell up at that point.
jac, you might be on to something… however Ellen’s mom is a shining example of how that isn’t true. But why are SO MANY of them psycho?
jewels, it’s like that for my sister. She’s got a husband and kids, and she’s told me the main thing she got from her upbringing was how NOT to raise her kids. She would think, “What would mom do...” and then do the opposite.
