Aww thanks ocB. The click wasn’t required for me to get credit, but I appreciate it. We actually already found the perfect house last year. But trying to refinance into a better monthly payment is a real bitch.

Donna, that’s true, and I have to keep reminding myself of that.

It’s great fun isn’t it.  We were fortunate to get a really good interest rate when we bought 2 1/2 years ago.  What will make a big difference for us will be having enough equity to drop the private mortgage insurance.  Since I don’t think that our house in the housing market we live in will really go up in value, it’s all in paying extra every month to chip away at the principle.
