I’m the same way, on all counts. lol. Especially with the icons. It drives me nuts when they start to build up.
Oooooh, I’m OCD about my computer too! Erik has a separate account on our laptop and sometimes I sneak over to organize his desktop because he just dumps EVERYTHING on it! It drives me nuts. I have to have my desktop clean and sometimes I’ll take a few hours to re-organize.
I may have to try out your new program.
I’m not that bad, but I keep specific folders for everything, and I almost never delete an email. My Outlook.pst file is something like 5 GB.
sweet… i am not quite as bad about my task bar...but for some reason i MUST have my Outlook first in line on the task bar. I also run several programs at once...but Outlook must be first.
hahaha! I am the SAME way. Although I put my desktop icons in the corners. That way I can see the picture allthebetter. Of course, they all have be lined up and I can’t have file names that are weird sized either.
And I TOTALLY feel you on the whole taskbar thingy. It messes up my Alt+Tab-ing.
Nothing wrong with being organized (or as some might say, anal) - you are not alone. There have been times where I had to close down several programs because my Outlook closed and it must be the first thing in my task bar. When I found Taskbar Shuffle, I was in heaven! I have it running on both my personal and work machines. Great little program for sure!
