Love your garden, it’s so well managed, so organized, I love your lizard! In case you can’t tell I’m completely jealous! All I’ve got is grass and dirt...and a dog...and some cows...and sheep, who are not nearly so colorful and pretty as your flowers. And if i thought for one moment that any of the above mentioned creatures wouldn’t eat/dig up/poop in my garden i would totally aspire to one like yours!

You’ve got an entire farm! Maybe you could section off a little area for your garden and keep the animals out of it. If that’s possible. Not sure how respectful animals are of boundaries, heh.

Oh....f-l-o-w-e-r-s....my bad huh? The lizard makes it complete....just saying.

If you see a little blonde girl lurking around your patio it’s just me making off with that lizard.
I love him!
And your sweetie has done a damn fine job!

Ooo a beautiful garden GDG, Mar did an excellent job. The Lizard is cute, but boy I reaallly really like the Birdsnest Fern he’s sitting under. I had one as a house plant and i failed it...it died sad Well thanks for sharing smile

Very nice. I’m quite the gardener myself.  I’m gonna post some garden pics soon.  This is probably why my back hurts from all the landscaping I’ve been doing.

T. | 05.11.2006 | 12:01 PM

Oh, and the lizard is very cute, too.

T. | 05.11.2006 | 12:01 PM

Oh man, you make me feel guilty.  I have a huge ass backyard.  I need to get out there and garden!!!

(I LOOOOVE the lizard, btw!)

adena | 05.11.2006 | 12:05 PM

Ugh, I am so jealous!

The garden looks great and you gotta love that lizard! So cute!

Sarah | 05.11.2006 | 12:07 PM

Color, something my garden won’t have for another month or more. And your dogs clearly do not enjoy excavation work like my little white tornado.  I could really kill her some days.

Love the colors and textures.  The lizzard is way cool.

zoe | 05.11.2006 | 12:55 PM

Yeah we’d be so pissed if we had little garden diggers for pets. BigPest likes to hide little treats here and there, but he never digs up any plants.

Geeky Dragon Girl | 05.11.2006 | 1:11 PM

It’s beautiful!  Mar has done a wonderful job.  Unfortunately, my thumb is black, so no garden for me

Unbalanced | 05.11.2006 | 1:15 PM

She did a great job! I’m so jealous. First, I wish I had a house so I could have a garden. Second, I wish I knew what the hell to do with a garden. My mom’s a landscaper and does my flowers (in my big ass pot on my front porch.)

Heheh. My word is “coming”.

Heather | 05.11.2006 | 3:37 PM

I think the garden is quite pretty. I dont have a green thumb, wouldn’t know what to do with it even if I did. Plus I hate dirt under my nails. Girly girly girl here. My word is ick!

Vixen | 05.11.2006 | 6:30 PM

I hate dirt under my nails too, believe it or not. Can’t stand it!

Geeky Dragon Girl | 05.11.2006 | 9:21 PM

I love my garden is really come a long way...and is finally looking like the picture I had in my head...though I will post more pictures so you can get the whole view...I have a hammock and a fountain that’s Dragon’s contribution to the peacefulness of MY garden. Now, I just need the time to enjoy it...my word is “kissable” hmmm

Mar | 05.11.2006 | 10:36 PM

Mar, in the second pic..is that a Birdsnest fern?

Donna | 05.11.2006 | 11:48 PM

Great job and beautiful plants & flowers!  I should really learn to garden.  heh

Hey,
Just stumbled upon your blogg thought I’d introduce myself my name’s Lisa and I’m from Australia, I have a girlfriend who lives in North Carolina yeah long distance relationships suck big time, but I do love her...love reading your blogg bye for now Lisa

Lisa | 05.12.2006 | 4:28 AM

How pretty!!!!! Oh and I love that blue lizard too, very cool.

Diane | 05.12.2006 | 7:09 AM

Donna, I have no idea about the name of any of the plants, but after Googling “birds nest fern” it kinda looks like that one.

KG, or you could get Doug to do it! smile

Lisa, glad you stumbled in! Hope you didn’t hurt yourself when you landed here. wink

Geeky Dragon Girl | 05.12.2006 | 7:14 AM

Hey, you wouldn’t wanna actually e-mail that second pic to me in full size so I could use it as a desktop wallpaper...it sure is purty smile

Donna | 05.12.2006 | 10:08 AM

I already get Doug to pick up poop in the yard.....and clean bathrooms....and take care of everything else.  lol You’d think the least I could do would be to learn to keep a plant alive.  heh.  Although it isn’t THAT hard here...our roses grow like WILDFIRE.  I’ve got to get out there and trim them back to the ground...again.

Although, next I am going to try my hand at houseplants.  I haven’t been successful in the past, but hey...now that I’m unemployed, maybe I’ll remember to feed and water them....if I can keep the cat from eating it.
