I’m so glad I don’t do video games, I waste all my time as it is with television and the internet.
something similar happened last year to my son’s PS2 - he thought he would be all geeky and open it up and clean it out. what he forgot is that a) he is not a geek. and 2) he is not very mechanical.
he brought it to a shop for repair...in a box, in ALOT of pieces. they guy just laughed at (with) him.
he actually replaced it with a refurbished...which we have just replaced again about a month ago.
Regular or 360? We bought my son the 360 for Christmas when they first came out, and he has gone through 4 of them. (We h ad to keep sending it in, and they’d send us a new one.) They suck.
Av, you’d probably make one hell of a post about it and draw lots of diagrams.

Sorry to hear the bad news. My computer feels like its on the brink and that would totally ruin all my game and/or porn viewing pleasures. And lets face it life would end at that point.

Ohh man I remember this happening to Brandon’s Xbox… Apparently there is 3 different dvd drives… and one of them is notorious for doing this you can get new drives off of ebay for like $30 or so, repair through xbox was like $90 i think…
That sucks! I don’t know what I’d do in that situation.
