what a cute back alcove!!
Looks like a fine place to kick back and relax.
I learned Spanish mostly from being a TA for the spanish (originally from Argentina) teacher. He hooked up the satellite to Telemundo and we watched the World Cup endlessly.
Shit, looks good. You got a fridge out there?
this one is for your sweety, as a soccer fan I’m sure she’ll enjoy the video I link to in my blog

- and the entry before that is about gay soccer players!

enjoy the good life!
*sigh* I want a patio like that!
My husband is a HUGE fan of soccer, so even though Denmark is not represented this year, he still wants to watch every possible game. Fortunately he’s agreed to just watching one game a day or I’d never get to spend any time with him at all
I’m like you - I can follow a game, but seldom get too caught up in it.
Hey! That looks like a great patio! I’ll be right over...I’ll bring some edamame ‘cause that’s all I have for snacks until I go to the grocery, kthx.
YAY! you watch soccer!
Why do you call it soccer?
Anyway: WE WON! 1-0 !!!!!
The Dutch Rule!
Tonight I’m gonna watch the USA play, I hope your team is gonna show us some good playing!
You’re not lookin at soccer. You’re lookin at you on the computer. lol.
Yeah, not only are you looking at your computer, you’re looking at your blog.
I’m not a soccer fan - but I love college football. I wish I had a cool set up like that to watch my OSU Buckeyes!
That looks totally awesome! I am quite jealous of the hammock especially.
Hon, that is an AWESOME set up! Makes me want to come on over and settle in.
And it’s so flippin’ cute seeing your site on your laptop in the pic. hehee…
Donna, I love it too!
Mike & Adena, thanks, we wanted to make it a mini-paradise.
Maggie, it’s annoying that none of the english-speaking broadcast stations are showing it.
RD, no fridge. But it’s only a few steps into the kitchen to get to the big fridge. We don’t hang out outside there THAT much.
Sharon, thanks for sharing, that was a funny video.
Maria, my sweety doesn’t get all worked up over it like some sports nuts, thank goodness. I don’t understand people who do.
KG, what the heck is edamame? You tryin’ ta poison me??
Dutchlady, well I don’t really watch it. I’ll pay attention when I hear the announcer getting all excited over something. And I don’t know why they call it soccer either. The rest of the world knows it as football, which makes a lot more sense. American football is more like “tackle the shit out of people ball”
60 and Heather, hey I never claimed I was the one watching the game! I said we took our game-watching/geeking outside. Sports aren’t geeky, but blogging is. I was out there to keep my sweety company.
Stephanie we had that hammock sitting under the bed for years waiting for the right lace to put it. When we finally got our own house that thing finally had a home.
J, I thought that would be funny to have my site in the photo. I made sure it was the one on the screen, so as not to show favoritism, heehee. Plus I use my blogroll to visit my regular reads.
so um...what happens when it rains?
It’s a covered patio. However rainy days are a little too cold to be lounging outside.
Wow, that looks soooo cool. I want one!
I want one too! Oh wait, I have one! Ha!
I’m in love with that whole set up of the hammock and plants! You did such a great job-- it reminds me of the Pottery Barn catalog I got in the mail!
I like Pottery Barn. The fact that it reminds you of that catalog is quite a compliment!
I’m jealous...that looks awesome!
