Yeah I still have my “I don’t remember what size it is but it still works perfectly fine” TV from 7 years ago. I don’t really <i>need</i> anything. It’s the <i>wanting</i> that gets outta control sometimes.

I kind of wish I’d have hit the sales. Would have been an adventure. Would have definitely needed to be able to leave when I wanted though. I’d get twitchy.
Black Friday is a perfectly appropriate name. It’s a little morbid, but then it’s also a little morbid the way people will step on each other to get to the $800 plasma TVs.

That’s crazy! I saw a clip on the news of a bunch of crazy idiots like pretty much trampling each other and fighting to get into the store. I wonder if they really ever know how pathetic they look.
We have boxing day sales up here (day after Christmas).
Those plasma tv’s… my friend got one. He was all happy… until he got home and it wouldn’t work. I hope hers does… or doesn’t depending on how miserable/happy you want her. It’s all about you afterall.

3 Plasma TV’s? Who the hell needs 3 TV’s, period? I am perfectly content with my 27 inch TV. By the way, Wal-Mart had a 52’s projection TV for 450 bucks, if you really need a TV.

my company...also in financial services - closes when the stock market does. in case you didn’t know, the stock market closed 1/2 day on friday.
tho i took the other half as a vaca day.
we shopped. its awesome - we think of it as an adventure.
I still say they should’ve just taken the entire day off. What can you do in half a day in between days off anyway? It’s silly.
