And of course people are more receptive to new things when given stimulents. So that might have been part of the sales spiel: get the customers feeling good and then try the sales pitch.

You DO realize that the guy that started and created the Herbalife company DIED of a heart attack at a really young age, right??

I always found that ironic....

(Hey! My word verification is “Sex")

Hey, this is my first time commenting on the new page. Pretty stellar your new digs.

Fanatics are totally the worse. Religious fanatics irk me every single time, or just pretty much ignorant people who don’t know what the fuck they are talking about. Makes me want to smack someone upside the head.

Anyway, that’s my little rant for today. And my word verification is Crackpot! lol!

xxx

Utenzi, you’re absolutely right. How else could sucha company get so big?

Adena, you know that was one little fact that Miss Fanatic failed to mention. “No one’s ever died from taking Herbalife...” HA!

Vixen, it was amazing how little this lady knew. I think I’m going to put up another post about how stupid she really sounded.

Heehee, my word verification was “goober”. My goal is for the word verification to be entertaining so as to hid the fact that it’s annoying.

I would love to send my father in law her way. He’s hard core in to natural healing and whole foods. He spends thousands of dollars on natural healing products. The joke at work is one day I’d love to spike his drink with my redbull because he’d seriously bounce off the walls.

It would be funny to give him a redbull and send him to pushy bitch because you can’t win an argument with him. Ever.

Heather | 03.26.2006 | 11:23 AM

Ooh I would love to see that! I would giggle with glee as she reverted to her moronic “I’ve been using it for 26 years” speech over and over for lack anything intelligent to say.

Geeky Dragon Girl | 03.26.2006 | 11:29 AM

I hate people like that! What if you had had a heart problem or diabetes or something like that?! Dumb bitch anyway. People think that “all natural” means that they can just hand it out or take it like it’s candy. (I’m off my soap box now...)

My father in law does his research. In a totally eccentric way because god forbid he’s ever wrong. He will not drink tap water (he has special filters), will not eat anything that has been in a microwave and he reads labels. He’ll lecture me if he catches me drinking my redbull.

But hey. To his favor, he’s 76 years old, still runs his own practice, sees over 120 patients a day and is way healthier than I am. So, he’s doing something right.

(My word is dumpy.)

Herballife scares me......

WV: idiot....how appropriate

Some Random Girl | 03.26.2006 | 5:11 PM

I used to be into Herbalife, but it sure wasn’t something you drank. Well, sometimes we ate it in brownies…

zoe | 03.26.2006 | 7:40 PM

LOL! Gotta love the happy plant.

Geeky Dragon Girl | 03.26.2006 | 7:50 PM

In the most technical sense, isn’t everything all natural? Even compounds that aren’t found in nature are made from things that are found in nature. You could probably eat a steel-belted radial and call it all-natural.

Joefish | 03.27.2006 | 11:06 PM

I think the idea behind “all natural” is the item not having been altered by humans. I guess “altered” leaves room for definition. I take it to mean genetically or molecularly altered.
