Biting off more than you can chew
We all have our hopes and dreams. Our goals. Dogs do too. Only their goals are a little… simpler. “Today I strive to catch that cat that keeps wandering into the yard.” Whatever keeps you going, right?
But who’s to say that a dog can’t be ambitious? We may have dreams of rolling naked in money (come on, be honest), but what do dogs dream about? What do they aspire for, how do they know they’ve made it? Well I’ll tell you. No, better yet, I’ll show you…

That, my friends, is a pork shoulder that Little Brat had dragged out to the yard and was gleefully knawing on for the rest of the day. You should have seen the sheer canine joy that was evident in her wiggling backside and springy step. Nevermind that she’s stuck wearing a sweater with every imaginable color on it. That bone is half her size! Life doesn’t get any better than this, if you’re a dog.
