Back from San Diego

After taking two days off to go to San Diego for an exciting interview with a prospective employer, I am now back in the salt mines and unsure what my future may hold.  They liked me and thought my personality was very well suited to the role and their company, BUT my lack of experience in dealing directly with corporate clients is giving them plenty of second thoughts.  Damn damn damn. Going in I was 70% sure they would hire me, but now I’m only 50% sure. Maybe even less.  It sucks to be back here in this pit where I have no future. There’s no future in a place where the suits upstairs like to micromanage and refuse to listen to advice given by the experts they hired to advise them in the first place.

Well, all I can do is continue look around for better prospects.
