All Better
After my depressing post I went to take a nice hot shower. Felt good. Since it’s so cold with all this annoying wind, the hot spray served to warm me up and wash away a few of negative emotions I was feeling. Warm and refreshed, I was almost human again. I even put on my happy underwear! Hey every little thing helps. Yes, I said happy underwear. It’s got the WB frog smiling and dancing all over it. How could that not bring a little cheer?
What really made things all better was when my baby came home. We had a nice chat over my worries, and then the best part was when she hugged me. It was a squeeze that conveyed all the love I needed, all the sympathy, and a reassurance that we were going to get through everything just fine. If I thought the shower felt good, this was ten times better. In the middle of that embrace I felt all my negative energy being squeezed out of me. Gone. It was almost magical. Sappy I know, but it’s truly how I felt. I think I’m gonna go back for more squeezin’!
