I can't seem to stop talking about television this week
Is there more to life than summer season premiers? I’m sure there is, but this little escapist doesn’t really care about what that might be right now. My Tivo’s been working hard for me. I finally got around to watching the first two audition shows for So You Think You Can Dance. They really like to focus on the freaks and rejects, but I wish they would put more spotllights on the breakdancers. Even if they aren’t very versatile in terms of other dance styles, they are quite impressive to watch with all their acrobatic moves.
I was so happy to see Hawk return! That boy is quite the talented showman. His performance impressed me even more than last year! Even if he’s unable to cut it in the other dance styles, I’d love to watch his freestyle dance solos. He and his crew are so creative in their antics, I would so love to watch them perform as a group. They could totally have their own show in Vegas, I think.
And in other news, I so thought it was Wednesday yesterday. Since we had Monday off, I was a day off in my tracking of the days. Imagine my pleasant surprise when I discovered that it was in fact Thursday, the day before Friday! Yaaayyyy! Time for a happy dance!
